The Michigan State University Materials Science and Engineering Society chapter is dedicated to supporting and allocating resources to all engineering students through a weekly materials science help room, bi-weekly chapter meetings, engineering projects, and fundraisers to support chapter activities.

A variety of speakers, such as alumni in industry or pursuing higher education, are brought in to meetings to help current students recognize the scope of materials science and share their experiences in the field. Representatives from The Center are also brought in prior to Career Fairs to assist in resume workshops and brainstorming interview strategies.

Chapter meetings are open to all engineers, though the focus is on MSE students, while the MSE help room is open to any student in an MSE class. Contact us with any questions and join our mailing list to get updates on meetings and events!
